7 Black Sweaters to Transition into Spring

I’m in a total spring state of mind, so the rain and chilly climes have been kind of killing my buzz. Nothing a new handbag, hat, and a big bunch of blooms can’t fix for now, though. Kind of superficial, but it’s true! My friend Courtney has been keeping me company this week while Matt’s on a business trip in Switzerland, so we’ve been adventuring around town and it’s felt so good to roam a bit with cameras in tow. We have a few shoots planned this week, so we braved the rain to pick up fresh flowers from the San Francisco Flower Mart downtown.

After leaving my white hat behind at Meadowood by accident, I was in the market for a new one. I decided on my absolute favorite hat label, Janessa Leoné, and have NEVER met a hat I loved more. My gosh, this thing is so beautiful, I want it in every color and a few other styles (all down below)! Could not recommend this hat more if you’re looking for the perfect ivory straw piece for spring.

The new bag is by Haerfest. I discovered them on Shopbop and immediately fell in love with their sleek designs. I’ve been holding out for a perfect laptop/chic carryall tote, and am so excited about this one. It has short and long straps, which is super handy and has the most buttery leather + a gorgeous nude/camel color suede on the inside. It’s too good.

Now, as for the theme of this post– black sweaters! I had to share this one because I have been living in it. I posted about this awhile ago before the holidays (when I talked about my obsession for trumpet sleeves) and own it in black and red. The structure of it is just so interesting and beautiful. I feel like this time of year I am itching to throw on spring accessories, but still need to keep warm, so these transitional sweaters are perfect for throwing in a straw hat or a new spring bag without making you look like you’re going through a seasonal identity crisis. 🙂 I got yo back.
