The Power of a Handwritten Note

3 December

These days, our digital world has made it incredibly easy to send notes, but no text or email will ever be as powerful as the sincere thought that handwritten notes deliver.

One of my friends, in particular, is so on point with sending thoughtful notes and it’s something I always admire about her. No-reason hellos, birthday cards, thank you notes– no matter the occasion, it means so much to open.

I have thought about cultivating my own stationery set for a while now to be better about putting pen to paper and sending out stamped letters myself. I wanted to find something clean and simple so it could be versatile. I came across Crane & Co.’s Simply Engraved Hemingway set and had to have it. It is the most beautiful stationery I’ve ever seen! And actually the first personalized set I’ve owned. I got the pearl white cards with my (new) initials in the gold ink and the vintage starlight envelope liner. The sculptural quality and shadow lines of the engraving is so stunning. I love them so much!

This would make such a lovely gift for someone this holiday, too! Just as unique and thoughtful as a love note in your mailbox. I couldn’t recommend the Simply Engraved Hemingway collection more, which currently has a limited-time promotional price until December 10th! { And just FYI, customized engraving is available now through December 14th to make it in time for Christmas. }

Now the question is… where do you stand on ‘thank you” notes in response to a ‘thank you’ note?! x

Yep, there are my new unofficial initial again… I have never really been a monogram/initial girl so it’s funny how right before our wedding I’m so into it. I’m having a great time with AH (;

A big thank you to Crane & Co. for collaborating on this story.
