When it comes to lush faux fur coats, I’ve learned that it takes the perfect combination of attributes to be well-loved and worn by moi. Color, cut, and thickness is what I look out for. They can feel a bit much (and a little too glam for me) as a casual San Franciscan but after lots of trial and error over the years, my pickiness has paid off. I finally found the cutest fluffball coat ever. It’s the softest in my closet and is so warm, chic, and has the most charming and flattering cut.

There’s no denying the Seventies vibe of this style coat, too; always on board with that vibe for the record. Teamed with denim or black skinny jeans and boots, and it immediately elevates the whole look. I wore it to an afternoon outing and wanted to go in a more casual direction, so layered it atop a t-shirt and jeans with mules and a day bag.

I absolutely love this thing… and it’s on sale! If you haven’t heard of Genuine People (I’ve mentioned them a few times), they are San Francisco based label. They are like an elevated Mango; super unique and beautiful pieces, at a price point that always feels delightfully surprising for what you’re getting. Big fan of them!
