This week I drove over to the San Francisco flower mart, always such an inspiring and fun adventure! Over the years, the more I have grown fond of wild and unruly, straight from the garden looking blooms. I just find them to be so charming and cheerful! Plus, they are usually more affordable! Not going to lie, I spent $20 on a tiny bunch of peonies and really regretted it afterward. Peonies have never really been a favorite of mine but since they are rare to find, I will cave here and there, but having them sit alongside all of these beautiful green and white blooms in our home this week made me realize that they just aren’t for me.
I LOVE David Austin Roses (if I’m feeling fancy), Scabiosa (absolute favorite), Queen Anne’s Lace, and snapdragons, tuberose, and anything like these cuties that are currently sitting on our bar cart. I don’t know the name of these, so if you do feel free to leave them it in the comments! I also have been loving buying greenery –– like Bay Leaves and Italian Ruscus. So beautiful alone, or even teamed with a pretty stalk flower, like snapdragons.
Pretty blooms just make me really happy…
And yay! My new bar cart arrived as you may have seen on Instagram. It’s from OKA and it is so beautiful! I wanted to find something sleek and timeless and this fits the bill perfectly. Very happy with it. What do you think? xx
