Home Tour: A European-inspired 1920’s Colonial Revival Home

I feel like I say this every time I share a home tour (because I hold out for the straight-up-magic gems)… but it has been a long time since I have come across a home tour I have loved this much…

I discovered this masterpiece a la 1stDibs this week and had to share. This 1920’s Colonial revival home was renovated and designed by Danish-born interior designer Pernille Lind, who is also one part of award-winning duo Lind + Almond. Pernille’s attention to detail and love of travel is woven into every project she has touched thus far, so inspired by her discerning eye.

My jaw dropped onto my keyboard while discovering this project in particular. The neutral foundation that creates such a serene atmosphere, the charming molding details, the arched windows, the french doors, the TILING (my god), the travertine coffee table (huge right now), the green and white mosaic marble, the Murano bedroom chandelier, collected vintage, all the cane/rattan… every carefully curated detail ties together in perfect harmony.

Her client’s vision was to create a European inspired home with a calm palette of colors and materials, have a look at that she brought to life…

The vibe

This is seriously so gorgeous. I’ve seen bits and pieces of this home but never the whole tour, and wow. I’m obsessed. So many swoon-worthy details! I just love how layered and inviting it feels. Gah so good. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve seen this home in snips on IG and recognized it immediately. Don’t know the owner personally but she seems like an absolute gem!

Nearly a year later and I still come back to this post and this house. So dreamy, I love it! Absolute perfection.
