White boots are a little more tricky in my book. I have a pair that I love, but I’ve found that they either click with an outfit or completely clash. A little bit of retro vibe repletes your whole look upon slipping them on. You either need to wear lighter colors if you’d like them to blend a bit more or I find that a pretty floral pattern goes nicely if you’re hoping they’ll serve as a pop!
After lots of trial and error, I’ve found they work best in 3 specific ways. Team them with a pair of straight leg/light-wash/cropped denim, with a midi dress/skirt, or with a maxi dress. The silhouette and style of the boots obviously matter, too. Make sure they are sleek and fitting. The less bulky the better with slight roominess around your ankles. I personally like a narrow square toe or a pointy toe.
