Happy Friday, friends! It was a long week, but it felt excellent to tackle the to-do list so next week is a little lighter to ease us into vacation mode. Also, I watched The Holiday twice this week, so things are going great. Looking forward to wrapping gifts this weekend, a holiday party one night, and cozying up by our tree.
This year is the first year in our lives that Matt and I are hosting Christmas! It’ll be so fun to be in the city, too. I’m looking forward to being home for the holidays and sharing some of our favorite restaurants that week with the Harpers. We’re ready! I’m so excited to open up our festive apt, spend time with family, and create new traditions of our own. Everyone has their own unique twists on how they celebrate, and I love that.
I teamed up with my friends at Ferrari Trento to create our first tradition… bubbles with breakfast! We will be opening up their delicious Brut Trentodoc on Christmas morning and have a fridge full to share throughout the break. Matt and I have mastered a breakfast sandwich we love making, so plan to whip those up to share with the family as well. The savory egg dish will go perfectly with the fresh bubbly. I’m picky when it comes to sparkling wine but love how light and refreshing Trentodoc tastes. { If you haven’t heard of this before, it’s a sparkling wine made from high-altitude vineyards above the city of Trento, in a mountainous region of northeastern Italy. } Ferrari Trento pioneered Trenodoc, and it’s now some of the best, award-winning sparkling wines made in Italy. If you haven’t tried Ferrari Trento, I highly recommend! Their wines are delicious.
A celebration isn’t the same without a cork flying in the air, agreed? Cheers to the holidays, new traditions, and bubbles all around…
