More than ever before (as of the last 2 or so years) my skincare routine takes the front seat with daily self-care. Especially with my wedding coming up this summer, I have been spending a lot of time researching products and testing things out. As of late, I have been so happy with how my skin looks and feels, and so I wanted to make note of the bevy of products I use on rotation. I mainly focus on masks, facial exfoliants, serums, and oils. I do face masks several times a week and always use gentle cleansers and facial moisturizers. A breakdown of my beauty A-Team below…

Cleansers

Fresh Soy Face Wash | One of my all-time favorites, which always leaves my skin feeling extremely clean. Like slippery baby butt clean! Matt uses this as well now and loves it.

True Botanicals Nourishing Cleanser | I ran out of this a while ago but it was so good! I felt that same entirely clean skin feeling every time I used it. I recommended this to my little sister when her skin was going through a fussy stage and it saved her skin and it’s her new favorite now. Highly recommend!

Elemis Superfood Face Wash | These three cleansers are all equally my absolute favorites. They all have gentle exfoliation and feel so good on your skin. I love the smell of this line, really all the products from their Superfood collection are so good, but this face wash really stands out to me.

Face Masks and Peels (the good stuff)

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel (Extra Strength) | This is my newest obsession that came highly recommended to me from a friend. It’s a 2-step facial peel and it leaves your skin feeling like brand new. Like you were just born new, haha. The first towelette you wipe onto your skin until it’s dry and let it sit for 2 minutes and then follow the same steps with the second towelette. The first one exfoliates and the second is for nourishing/anti-aging. You will LOVE them! I got the extra strength (there’s a gentle version, too) because the gal at Sephora told me to go for extra strength if my skin is used to Glycolic Acid… and it definitely has been acquainted with glycolic (love me so GA).

M-61 Power Glow Peel | I mentioned this one a few weeks back, but it’s equally amazing to the Alpha Beta Peels. This one only has 1 towelette and works wonders as well. I think I will go back and forth buying these two. Love.

Peter Thomas Roth Firmx Peeling Gel | My hairdresser and I were talking about peels (on a big peel kick as you can tell, haha) and she told me about this stuff and so I had to try it and I am such a big fan. Gist from the product page: A unique peeling gel that visibly exfoliates by rolling, lifting, and sweeping away when massaged onto the skin as a result of physical and enzymatic mechanisms.

Ren Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask | I got this as a sample a while ago and really loved the results. It increases hydration, refines skin pores (always looking for products that help with this) and smoothes out fine lines. My skin always feels so velvety smooth after using it. I use it 2 times a month or so when I want to give my skin a refresh or if I have a small breakout, etc.

Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask | I have talked about this many times but it remains a favorite so I’ve gotta give it yet another shoutout. I love the way this mask feels cool on your skin, gently exfoliates, and leaves my skin looking fresh and glowy.

Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask | Another repeat favorite–this mask is a must. It’s the kind that foams up once you apply it to your skin and it has a cool tingle. Incredibly hydrating and such a clean, fresh, glow after using. I love this one especially for summer after being out in the sun.

Eye Creams

M-61 Hydraboost  Eye Concentrate | This was another mention a few weeks back when I went to the Blue Mercury event. The beauty consultant I worked with recommended it and I have been loving it. It brightens and hydrates my under eyes and I notice a difference quickly. I use in the evenings and before I put on makeup in the morning.

OleHenricksen Banana Bright Eye Cream | My friend Sophie turned me on to this product and I’ve been loving it. It smells so delicious and the fluffy cream feels so good at the end of the day. Great price point, too!

Serums

Kypris Moonlight Catalyst | If you’ve been reading my blog for a long time now, you know all about this stuff. It’s one of my top favorite products I buy again and again. I always get it from Levery Beauty, who has the best clean beauty products!

La Prairie White Caviar Illuminating Pearl | I realize this is a wallet whack, but it’s incredible. I am very lucky to work with the brand and I’m able to test out their products, and this is one I have fallen in love with. It goes a *very long way as it’s light and creamy. It usually lasts me about 8 months or so as I just use 1 pump a day or every other day. I try and save it for when my skin really needs a glowy boost. You can also go to places like Nordstrom and Blue Mercury and ask for samples to take home and try before, too!

Moisturizers

M-61 Hydraboost Moisturizer | A new (to me) moisturizer that I’ve really been loving. A little gist from the product page: firming moisturizer and face primer combo brings together power-packed peptides to firm skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Vitamins B5 and E work with hyaluronic acid to plump and replenish skin’s moisture level. // I put on a small amount and let it soak into my skin before makeup and it really does act as a primer… so smooth and even!

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream | One of my all-time favorite products by La Mer. It’s light and fluffy and is the best at night teamed with my eye cream and oil on top. I notice a huge difference when I use it. I wake up with such healthy and hydrated looking skin. 10/10.

Supergoop Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 | I have to include an SPF in here and this one has been a weekly favorite. Super light and absorbent and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily.

Oils

True Botanicals Radiance Face Oil | One of my favorites to date! It’s super gentle but effective and makes my skin so happy. Another product I recommended to my sister who also fell in love.

Kypris 1,000 Roses Face Oil | This one I’ve been using for years (goes great with the Moonlight Catalyst) and it lasts forever! Such a good one.

Tata Harper Beautifying Face Oil | I use this one almost every evening after a serum. it’s such a good one! Super light, it nourishes and hydrates and gives my skin a radiant glow by morning.

Face Mists

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist | I am obsessed with this product, it’s so refreshing and smells so delicious! Have you guys tried this brand? It’s new to me, but I am loving it so far!

Elemis Superfood Kefir Tea Mist | Absolutely love this stuff, too! I told you everything from Elemis’s Superfood line is amazing, and this is such a great one to have on hand for spring and summer. I carry this in my bag and will spritz my skin if I am feeling like I need a little hydrating midday.

thoughts, ideas, questions...

Do you use oils? I love Indie Lee and have been trying out Drunk Elephant. I really love the baby facial from that line and switch between that and the pads you mentioned (agree both are great!)

I do! I listed my top favorites, but have a whole bunch in my medicine cabinet. Love a good evening lather. 🙂

I have a bunch of Drunk Elephant products! I do love the BabyFacial, I have actually mentioned it before. It’s a little more intense feeling and so I’ve been opting for the peels which seem to be a little gentler on my skin.

Thanks for stopping by, Erica!

I don’t know how I missed your oils section! I love the pads you use as well and debate whether I prefer those to the pads – both are great!

Thanks for sharing your faves!

There was A LOT of stuff in this post, haha!

And yeah, I totally agree, I think it’s nice to bounce around favorite products once you run out. I will definitely be back for more BabyFacial in the future… aptly named, BTW!
