The List | No.03

I go through sporadic waves with shopping. I’m not constantly getting boxes delivered, but when I reach a point of boredom with my wardrobe, I take action. A week or so ago, I realized it had been forever since I gave my closet some TLC. I’ve got some good shopping momentum right now so I thought I’d show you a few things in my cart, and a few I’ve already ordered. If you’ve been following along since last year, you know I did a huge closet clean and decided to only bring home things I adore. Pieces that feel timeless, versatile, and bring me joy. I love treating myself to something like this beautiful Ulla Johnson top every few months and will jump on a $50 jackpot find at Zara (just arrived in the mail and it’s a 100% must). The roundup of items above (for the most part) are a little more on the investment side, but I included more of my bookmarked items below. I’m just needing some magic in my life (read: Ulla, etc.).

Right now my eyes are gravitating towards transitional pieces, satin and velvet slides (slides forever), slinky tops and dresses, and pieces that make me think “I don’t think I’ve loved an object more in my life, than you“.

  1. 1. every since I got my first Ulla Johnson piece almost 4 years ago now I have not turned back and would gladly have the entire collection every season! 2. I posted about my Cami NYC today and its the best $150 I ever spent on a piece of silk and lace, the cost per wear at this point is cents haha

    1. I totally go by price per wear and CAMI NYC tanks are so worth it! Like Emily said, you’ll end up wearing it weekly.

I also just bought Mojave Ghost and Gypsy Water! Gypsy Water is so light that you can layer it with Mojave and it is ahhhhmazing.

    2. Aww! Well… if you need another this top is to die for. My stomach always sinks a little when I splurge, but then it arrives and it just was meant to be/makes sense. The way it lays is perfect 100% my new favorite ever. 🙂

And yay, so good to hear! I have been eyeing them for a few years now, but never bit the bullet. I think I am going to go for this one above or the black and white polka dot with lace. So cute with skinny black jeans and a leather jacket for fall!

And YES! I totally believe in cost per wear…

  2. Just picked up a few Ulla Johnson dresses last weekend and have been wearing them on repeat. I am also really into Byredo after visiting their shop in Stockholm. I know Mohave Ghost is quite popular but I am loving Bal D’Afrique!

    1. Ah, that must have felt so good! That Ulla top is such a gem. It makes me so happy, and I don’t think I will ever get tired of it. I just love pieces/brands you feel that way about. 🙂

I haven’t tried that scent, but will next time I see it! I just like sweet/musky so that one caught my attention. Hope you have a great weekend, Danielle!
