It’ll be interesting because, in the past, the warmer seasons have been where I’m more likely to fall for fast, trendy buys. In the winter, capsule things are everywhere and easier to focus on while in the summer, loud trends are in full bloom. I am going to stick to my guns though and try to keep in mind the longevity of pieces that I can wear time and time again. I don’t have a huge warm weather collection right now after many closet cleanouts, but I know my taste palette from what I’ve continued to hold on to for all of these years… the things that feel the most me…
Things I have and wear on repeat
T-shirts by The Great.
I live in my Freda Salvador woven mules.
My endlessly loved Ganni plaid smock dress.
Speaking of smock, I just got this top and will be wearing so much.
For casual, but elevated tops I love this tank and this tee from Reformation.
& Other Stories shorts / Boyish shorts.
Agolde Denim Jacket.
For casual days, converse and my Beatrice Valenzuela slides.
Janessa Leoné hats! My favorites include this, this, and this one.
Straw bag from General Store.
New things in from Sir the Label I love. This top and this dress.
I swear by Everlane summer knits and Sezane cardigans.
Obviously the Agolde Toni jeans…
This year I have my eyes out for more dresses since I love the ease of a flattering frock all spring and summer long. My go-to’s to shop for dresses are Ganni (floral and wrap), Reformation (floral and linen), Massimo Dutti (linen), Veronica Beard (the coolest cuts and always incredibly flattering), DVF, Rixo, and Sir the Label.
I need to work on fun blouses this year! I only have a small handful I am smitten with.
I’d like another pair of classic sandals (I love my Saint Laurent sandals, looking for something I like as much in nude).
Never enough tee’s right? So excited to try this new cut by The Great.
I’m also keeping an eye out for a new, neutral spring bag. Since I sold my YSL satchel, I’ve been needing a small/everyday shoulder bag and since I have my black Celine, I decided I want to do a different hue.
* I plan to stick with a neutral color scheme since it’s what I enjoy wearing most, a few fun knits for laying, playful floral patterns dresses and tops, and timeless staple accessories. I’m going to continue to update you with new buys, I love how (based on daily convos I have on Instagram) I feel like you know my closet! I plan to keep you in the loop, but this is the start of my spring game plan.
Here are some things I’ve saved to my new SS20 shop lately also be sure to follow my The List board on Pinterest. I have been adding to this a ton lately…
For future reference, this shop is located under “the shops” on my menu bar, I will link it here! xx
