I have been thinking about how we are all probably so much in the lounge-state-of-mind than ever before in the transition from winter to spring. Because let’s be honest… lounge attire reigned supreme in 2020, not just winter hibernation. Being pregnant also makes things a little more interesting, so I thought I would look back on favorite outfits and memories from the past to get the wheels turning and get excited to *actually part ways with the cozy-home-hang things and get dressed and enjoy the beautiful weather ahead in pieces that make me feel good!

I also thought it would be fun to dissect my S/S style a bit for you. I am a creature of habit and love my trusty go-to’s so thought I would share a closer look into my warm weather style equation…

Featured photo—this is such a good example of my everyday style. A pair of denim shorts (love Agolde in particular, the Parker is so good), a fun top (this one is old by Meadows), easy slides, a Janessa Leoné hat (my forever go-to hats, shared my favorite styles of hers here—this one is the Simone), and sunnies.

My more elevated approach to warm weather soirees! First, I should note that I live in linen… these pants are everything and are finally back in stock… Faithfull always has such amazing linen pieces. My Tove top is the perfect example of the kind of investment piece I love—special, unique, and versatile. I wear this one SO much (when it fits me…) and fun tortoise sunnies (these are very old Gucci).

Simple and fuss-free but elevated… just the way I like it. Another example of a fun top below but teamed with denim shorts—this one is old Shaina Mote (love her pieces for those unique, eye-catching styles).

And then for those more casual, hang in the backyard days. Denim, easy linen tops or a light crew sweatshirt (always a fan of Anine Bing for sweatshirts!), and then I let accessories add some fun… love Lucy Folks’s endless summer vibes and unique jewelry and hair ties. Baseball caps are another accessory I find myself reaching for a lot this time of year. Love how they can ground an outfit if you want to dress something down a little bit, like a more feminine ruffle-y top!

Besides sandals, I live in these mules by Freda Salvador… one of my most favorite pairs of shoes that go with everything…

{ Always holding wine… missing this accessory not gonna lie! }

I mentioned recently, but Vince elevated tanks make my wardrobe go round… in general Vince is a staple over here for quality everyday things.

Quality swim! A few favorites: Marysia, Matteau, Solid & Striped

Linen dresses — these do a lot of the heavy lifting this time of year for me! Reformation, Sleeper, and Rachel Pally are a few off the top who always have simple, easy throw on linen pieces.

And when it comes to those wear-everyday accessories—I love a denim jacket, good straw bag, neutral sandals, and tortoise or acetate sunnies are my go-to!

I have a whole new SS21 shop here I have been saving things to in case you’re interested in taking a peek xx
