Faithful the Brand Linen pants,
St. Agni top (also love this one)
Spring breathes new life into the world around us. It’s the finish line to warmer, lighter, longer days. Spring’s arrival is freeing in a sense– magic is what it is…
I am so excited to start talking about a new season’s sartorial shift. As you may know, I started fresh last year–my wardrobe has dwindled away to the absolute must-haves. I did pretty well for myself adding on this winter, but spring/summer clothes are another story. We’ve got to change that, so consider this my game plan! This is a starting point to think about what you already have, what you should look for, and what trends you want to try out. Side note: be sure to check your favorite designer sites for sale items right now… I’ve noticed so many of mine have great pieces marked down a ton from last season!
Here are 9 spring styles/trends we’ll be seeing aplenty on the horizon…
Head-to-toe coffee, caramel, sand, chestnut–these tones make getting dressed easy like Sunday. This is great news because neutrals are the best investments you can add to your repertoire. Besides my affinity for flirty printed wrap dresses, I am going to beige my days away.
All of the patch pockets! A big trend this winter, too–it’s here to stay and I am totally onboard. I am on the hunt for a lightweight denim fabric cargo jacket in a pretty sand color with the same structure as the olive green one above!
I’ve been into square-toe shoes for a while now, thanks to discovering By Far a couple of years back. They have been tip-top of mind for me lately with wedding/bridal events coming up. I need these sandals!
4/ Wrap dresses
I feel like this one needs no introduction, but if you have yet to get yourself a few wrap dresses, now is the time. They are the most flatting, effortless, cozy thing you can slip into.
Details, details, details. The items that make an outfit sing…
With this trend, you’ll see crochet pieces, breezy fabrics, strappy sandals, and raffia accessories. Sun-kissed hues and neutrals, clashing geometric prints, scarf dresses, artisan knits, fringing. RIXO is one of my favorites for these vibes.
7/ Golden Child
Hello, yellow. The color of lemons, marigolds, and the setting sun is the shade of choice come spring. All the more reason to have a sunny disposition.
No rules, just fun!
