The Art of Ring Stacking

Ring stacking is an art and something I’m still trying to master, but after having a chat with one of my favorite jewelry designers, Jane Pope, I’m feeling good about the infancy of my ring collection.

I decided to start completely fresh with my jewelry collection recently and focus on quality over quantity. Jane’s collection stands out in my mind because her designs are so unique, timeless, and special– the kind of quality I look forward to sliding on each day. Whenever I visit Jane’s site or Instagram, I’m always in awe by her fun and effortless ring stacks, so I asked her if she could share a few tips on how to stack like a pro.

Q

What are the most important things to think about when curating a perfect ring stack?

A

I would say my tips for stacking are pretty simple; Find what works for you, stacking is very personal. Some stacks that I love don’t work for other people and vice versa. Try mixing lines and textures for variation. Stack horizontally as well as vertically. I love one, two or three skinny rings stacked on fingers that are beside each other. Play around until you find your perfect stack. Have fun with it!

Q

What is your favorite ring combination from your collection?

A

The FIVE POINT DIAMOND Ring + ANGULAR Ring + BEZEL SET EMERALD Ring is one of my favorite combos. I also really love the FOUR POINT DIAMOND Ring on your middle finger beside a few rings stacked on your ring finger.

Q

What is your everyday go-to stack?

A

Every day I wear two JPJ NAME Rings with my babies’ names on them stacked with a JPJ THIN ROUND Ring
