I always see this image floating around Tumblr and I finally found the original article on Architectural Digest. This French home and dreamy green scenes give me so much inspiration for our future backyard vibes. I cannot wait for that day...
Speaking of Archi Digest, I got their new book 'Architectural Digest at 100: A Century of Style' for Christmas and have fallen in love. I promised I would do a coffee table styling post soon and will also share an update on favorite coffee table books (I have quite the growing collection), but in the meantime, I have saved a bunch of them here!
This unique chandelier style has always caught my eye. I love how fun and charming it is... and of course, I find out this one I fell for is by Visual Comfort Co. which is a top favorite lighting shop of mine. Going to mull over this one for a while, I think it would look quite incredible in our living room!
One of my 2020 goals is to be better about writing cards and thank you notes. I am awful at this, to be totally honest. Whenever friends send them my way, they make my day... and it's such a simple gesture. I have started to bookmark unique paper companies and products to start building a collection of my own to help me get into the habit. I want to hunt down a chic address stamp, too! I love Wilde House Paper and Jaymes Paper at the moment.
Since I have been asked about this marble tray a ton this week, I wanted to include it. I have two, one on the side of our stove for olive oil, balsamic, sea salt, etc., and one in our bathroom for easy-access beauty products. It's the best.
I came across this strawberry basil margarita recipe this week and I'm so excited to give it a try this weekend. Winter weather won't stop me from a good marg! I shall report back after we test it out...
Funny story! So, a long time ago, I went into Anyon Interiors on Sacramento Street (you may remember, it was when I discovered they carry my Louise Roe jewel vases!)... and I took some photos in their shop. They always have such beautiful stuff and it's always so inspiring to walk through. I was cleaning out my phone and saw a snap of this marble bowl by Made Goods, and realized I needed it in my life. I called them and they ordered one for me so I am going to go pick it up today! One of my readers messaged me yesterday and told me she got this bowl and how it reminded her of me... the two are basically identical... you guys get me.
I got two of these rings and am so smitten. They are so beautiful and the quality is amazing. I love teaming them together, or one with my wedding band. Highly recommend. I have a bunch of new jewelry pieces saved in my jewelry shop in case you're interested...
Lastly, I loved this pretty photo and saved it on Instagram this week. I took a break from picking up flowers over the holidays and once we got back into reality and I went to the flower mart, I realized how much I missed it and how much creating my own little arrangement brings me so much joy. And working from home, being around blooms brightens my spirit, too. Just a reminder to continue doing and surrounding yourself with what you love! So good for the soul.
