I admittedly get *way* too ahead of myself with talks of the next season, but I just can’t help dream of spring every single year in the cold slap of winter. January and February are always a bit slow for me, which is a nice way to start the year, but my excitement (and countdown) for spring has begun. It’s never a bad thing though to start a wish list, browse for style inspiration, and order a few things in preparation for the coming months. I know some of you are in snow right now, but don’t swipe left just yet!
I’ve noticed recently that I’ve fallen into a major closet rut. I need to be better about only bringing home things that are timeless, versatile, and make me feel great. I have a handful of those things right now { hello, Ganni Dress you guys know ALL about. PS. they have amazing new things right now… } so I am working on ways to narrow things down that I know will stand the test of time as favorites in my closet. My plan is to start my spring wish list now and revisit frequently so I can continue to save/splurge on the ones that stick, and remove things that lose my interest. I personally love utilizing my Shopbop account to heart pieces (which alert me when they go on sale or are running low in stock), and since I’m an avid Amazon prime shopper, it’s super convenient.
A few things I’m really needing in my closet: a couple more pair of cropped denim in a light wash and in black. Have you guys tried Agolde? Their denim looks so effortless, yet perfectly tailored and flattering. I think I am going to give them a try. I also need an everyday clutch, I love this one by Mansur Gavriel. I don’t know how this is possible as I feel like I’m the biggest slide/mule hoarder, but I really need neutral, simple slides that go with everything. I am so impressed by everything Jeffrey Campbell lately, I am ordering those silver slides today. He’s kind of knocking off LOQ with his woven shoes, but I’m totally OK with it because that price point is just fantastic.
