Happy Monday! I have energy again and it feels so good. To be honest– the past few weeks have been very meh. Maybe it’s tax season? My goodness, this year was rough. Gone are the days of a simple W2! My mood lately has been varied and fickle– and then a cold bug struck our apartment good. I’m feeling worlds better now, both physically and mentally and think I needed time to rest and take a break from work. Between overbooking every week in April and then feeling under the weather– it’s been a lot. I needed a moment to reboot. (plus, #murcuryisinretrograde)

One thing that’s been on my mind a lot lately, is how I can better manage my time so that I don’t run into these feelings of burn out. I think a little stress may have contributed to not feeling well. I know that the case of the “blahs” always goes away, so I just kind of sift through the thought process, but it definitely affects me. Anyway, I wanted to share why I have been slightly MIA. I hate not feeling 100%, but it happens and I just have to roll with it.

There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, though and today I’m excited to share with you the new and improved, Weekend Moments (2.0?). A little change always leads me to inspiration, and I’m always thriving to deliver more valuable content, even in more personal series like this one. What will Weekend Moments look like from here on out? I will still be sharing a glimpse into my personal life on the weekends which will start off each post. When noteworthy things happen– like discovering a new local gem, trying a recipe I can’t keep to myself, or recap a day trip, etc. Then I will wrap it up with a whole bunch of things that are currently inspiring me. Because let’s be honest, sometimes on Monday I look back on our weekend and think “I got nothin'”, so at least there will always be something to share now! One of my new goals is to dedicate 30-40 minutes on Sunday reigniting inspiration and energy for the work week ahead. So, let’s dive into the good stuff!

Have you heard of Quitokeeto? No idea how we pronounce that one, but it’s the most darling shop for table top. I also just enjoy peeking at all of their beautiful imagery like the featured image above. I have my eye on a few vintage-esk glasses for upcoming spring dinners.

This Vogue article caught my attention… and then I was pleased to see it was about Michelle Adams (I recently shared her home tour here… I literally would move into her house in Michigan and not change a THING.). Michelle is the co-founder of Lonny Magazine and a former Domino editor. She just recently launched the cutest coastal-inspired shop, The Maryn, and I want so many things, including this dog bed for Scout. She just got a new doodle pup, Rufus, too!

I know this isn’t practical, but a vintage rug in the form of a purse? Why didn’t I think of that? I’m really loving this supersized bag trend too and will be posting about it soon.

Lastly, a new tumblr I have been loving.

What’s currently inspiring you? Let me know in the comments, I would love to hear!

Feel free to say hi / comment / send questions x
