FUN FINDS AS OF LATE
Nothing beats an extended long weekend. We decided last minute on Thursday to beat the crowd and road trip up to visit Matt’s parents in N. Lake Tahoe. They live in Arizona in the fall/winter and migrate to their lake house for spring/summer, so it’s a nice little reunion and a perfect spot near Incline Village. It’s one of our favorite places in the world, so spending time in the mountains was ideal for the weekend. Plus, Tahoe in the summer is my personal favorite. It’s pretty crazy how much snow is still covering the mountain tops and tucked into shaded nooks throughout the neighborhood, and yet the 75º temps welcomed us on the deck each day. How I got (SO) tan in three days vs. our Maui trip, is beyond me, but we left our three-day escape on Sunday night feeling relaxed and sun-kissed.
On Monday morning we woke up, made coffee, and headed up to Scribe with our friends who were in town from LA. Always a wonderful time sitting on the hill sipping Pinot Noir. We were so tired last night after the sun-filled weekend and went to bed at 8 pm. Needless to say, I’m feeling quite rested today and am looking forward to the short week ahead. How was your weekend!?
In other news. On Saturday on the deck, I fell into a rabbit hole of inspiration. I have so many fun ideas to share soon and am in a move-everything-around in our apartment mood. I think I need some change in both my home and closet, so am going to be sorting both out this week and plan to share some updates soon. I hope you have a great week!
