A Winter Weekend in Yountville

North Block Hotel has become one of our go-to places to stay whenever we are planning an overnight in Yountville. The property is incredibly charming and cozy, and the location is ideal. Just a few minute stroll from everything in the small walking-distance town and easy drives to Napa/St. Helena.

The hotel itself is beautiful, covered in greenery, fall foliage this time of year and wisteria in the spring/summer. And packed with chic, Spanish charm. And one of our favorite parts about visiting? They are Scout friendly! They also deliver with champagne upon arrival, the sweetest staff, impeccable service, and I’ve mentioned this before from our first stay two years ago… the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve encountered. Like a cloud.

We arrived on Friday in the late afternoon and decided to walk to a couple of tasting rooms nearby before dinner. We had to stop by one of our favorites in the area, Hope & Grace, which I always recommend! And I finally got to see the brand new Restoration Hardware restaurant which is absolutely insane. Like jaw was on the floor good. After exploring/tasting a bit we grabbed a pizza and pasta to go from Redd Wood, North Block’s onsite Italian eatery and called it a night.

In the morning we walked across the street to Southside Cafe for coffee (I actually got an almond chai what was delicious!) and some pastries for our room while we got ready for wine tasting. Highly recommend North Block if you’re ever planning a trip to Yountville, you’ll love it there, too!

A few photos of our time spent on the property below… and part II of our Saturday and my wine country google map coming tomorrow! x
