Weekend Moments 7.16.18

So far, summer has been exactly what you hope it to be– sunny and relaxing! My skin is as sun-kissed as can be after our back to back trips (success) and I am living for these long days and golden hour sunsets. Summer is just so refreshing, the perfect mid-year indulgement. I hope yours has been fun-filled and carefree as well!

A few things of note as of lately…

1

Matt and I have a few wine country trips coming up for the continued wedding venue hunt. Anyone else dislike this part of the planning process?? I’m so ready to nail something down and focus on the fun stuff. But really, why must I be so picky slash why is everything up there three money signs!? More to come soon once we iron that one out. 🙂 We are staying at two properties this month that have both been on my list for awhile! I will be sure to capture and share our weekend per usual.

I freshened up the blog a little bit, do you like? You probably didn’t notice if you read via mobile. Desktop view is more obvious, so come and visit if you haven’t yet! I have always been one to change up design tidbits often, love a good code tinkering session. Really happy with the design right now and hope you like it, too/find it easy to navigate!

I’m very close to feeling like our apartment is ready to be photographed for a home tour! I just want to add a few finishing touches before, but am planning to have that up by early August. I need to hang a few things in our bedroom, add a rug to our kitchen and potentially swap out our rug in the living room. I’ve been wanting to add a larger vintage piece for a long time now, but haven’t come across anything I love. On a hunt lately though and determined! And ps. in case you missed it and are looking, my bar cart just went on sale!

I added a seventh Ganni piece to my collection and just have to share how much I love this brand. Ever since I got this smocked dress last summer, I can’t get enough. Some of my very favorite things to wear these days– everything is so flattering and easy to wear from day to night. One note I should mention is that their sizing isn’t always true to size. Make sure you look at the dimensions/fit/how it lays on the model, etc. before making a purchase. I’ve learned that I need to go up a size for the most part, as I find most things run a bit small *especially their wrap dresses if you have a bigger bust.

There’s seriously something magical about golden hour in summer… I captured this on a walk home after our sushi date night last weekend. How insane are these colors and that dusty setting sun?
