When I find brands I love, I stick with them…
This is especially true for swimwear labels come summer! As a San Franciscan, my swimsuit collection doesn’t get *as much* action, so I prefer to slowly collect high-quality pieces, so that when I do get around to packing them up for a getaway, I feel great wearing them. Fabric, comfort, and cut are key.
It’s important to experiment with different styles and see what works best with your body type. There are some styles that I really wish could work, but just don’t look as nice. Since I’m slightly more busty, I live for underwire tops. And when it comes to one pieces, I need the back to hit around my bra-line area for a bit more support. One of my all-time favorite one-pieces is from Matteau… this suit is the BEST.
Once you know exactly what works, it makes shopping online for suits so much easier. And trusting in these brands for their amazing fabrics and styles keeps me coming back for more each year…
