A Thoughtful Approach to Curating a Holiday Wish List

My perspective comes down to 3 categories…

Practical / essentials

For more practical items on your list… think about what brands do you shop from the most? What items are you always collecting more of and use constantly? A few examples for me off the top: Lululemon (align leggings for life), The Great t-shirts, Hanes socks for my stocking! — a couple of items I am always excited to restock!

Something fun and exciting

Create a Pinterest board and take some time this week to browse some of your favorite designers, retailers, makers and save ideas. Revisit by early next week (bonus if they have a cyber sale!) and pare down on which you’d be the most excited about. Maybe something you might not normally buy for yourself.

Things to add to your collection

I LOVE adding tabletop things to my own wish list. Adding on to collections is such a good idea for holiday gifting. As an example, we collect splatterware from March and glassware from Fferrone. Since both have a little higher price tags, we slowly collect over time. And you will support small businesses that are special to you!
