Visual Diary: Las Alcobas, Napa Valley

Las Alcobas, you are such a gem. I’ve stayed at many resorts in wine country, but there is something so unique and special about this place. A mix of modern and traditional. The attention to detail– from the beautifully manicured greenery to the clean lines and Italian marble repleting the property–the beauty is endless and captivating throughout your whole experience.

On Thursday, we made our way up to this charming hotel, nestled up on a hill, alongside a vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley. It’s actually right next door to Beringer Winery! Upon arrival, golden hour kissed the landscape as we began to settle in and unwind. The amazing view from our little patio made it all the more magical… it was by far my favorite highlight. That view was just incredible.

Wine country, to me, is the definition of relaxation. I can wholeheartedly confirm it’s my ultimate happy place.

We spent a lot of time sitting out on our patio during our stay. As San Franciscans who appreciate outdoor space when they have it more than anything (?), we loved this so much. Especially after dinner when we roared up the firepit, had a little more wine, and listened to Dave Matthew’s new album. It was so cozy and relaxing…

I’m wearing: Old Rag & Bone Tee (more options), Lou & Grey Linen Pants (couldn’t be more perfect for lounging with wine in wine country! more options)

A little glimpse into their spa. One of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen!

Their amazing onsite restaurant, Acacia House, with an idyllic wrap around porch is a must visit, too. The food was fantastic– the service, beauty, views, and sunset all followed suit. The burrata and pear was so so good! Matt and I have a tradition to order breakfast in bed at least one morning everytime we travel… and this was one of the best in-room dining experiences I’ve had. Their food is just to die for.

And while you’re in the area… a few of our favorite wineries nearby: Alpha Omega, Peju, The Terraces, Duckhorn, Rombauer, Hall, Quintessa. We ended up joining Alpha Omega! We had been a few times and just love their wine so much…

I’m wearing: 7 For All Mankind Top (similar options), Ganni Skirt (sold out, more floral options here)

We had the best time. Countdown to next weekend and the venue shopping continues…
