When spring comes around I get a major craving to entertain! Maybe it’s the simplicity of the season… less is more approach certainly suits my hosting style. I don’t know but this whole scene just puts me in such a good mood! Nothing better than sunshine, fresh air, rosé sips, music, a lovely tablescape/setting while catching up with my hubby/friends.
A while back I was asked to share entertaining essentials, so I thought there’s no better time than now. Plus, after my registry post, I stocked up on a few things and I’ve been looking forward to putting them to use!
I wanted to make note of a handful of things we have and love. It’s a small (but growing) collection, all in which feel so special whipping out when friends come over. I will be sure to update this post as I go and will link some things I’m eyeing below, too… xx
favorite entertaining essentials
Wynne Ware wavy bowl | You know my love of Wynne Ware (where I got my Hein Studio candleholder), well this is my newest addition and I’m in love! Such a great bowl for spring/summer entertaining. It’s super light-weight porcelain and so charming! It adds such a statement to your tabletop.
Pottery Barn stripe napkins | Liz shared these napkins on my registry post and I immediately went and bought them. I love the occasional stripe, especially in that color and paired with unexpected things like the wavy black-rimmed bowl.
Charming glassware | I have a whole ‘Glassware Collection’ post here highlighting our favorites. I just love having a bunch of options to choose from based on the occasion and vibe. Currently obsessed with these cutie tumblers (featured in the photos).
Wynne Ware resin serving spoons | I had been eyeing these for a while and finally got them after Liz brought them to my attention again in her registry roundup picks, so I went for it… Liz is just not a good influence on my bank account! lol.
Celestial Objects fringe placemats | I spoke about these on Instagram stories last weekend when they arrived and they are just the cutest things. I am a bit picky when it comes to placemats, love how simple these are with a fun, unique touch.
Silver Bamboo Serving Spoons | These are from the same collection as our cutlery and they are the best. Obsessed with this growing Fortessa collection of ours.
Mouthblown Decanter | I keep talking about this thing, but it’s because I’m obsessed. It sits on display on our bar cart, and will be so cute to have on the table for wine nights with friends this season!
Fringe linen napkins | I also love these. So simple and sweet.
Ceramic Serving Dishes | I discovered this Etsy shop recently and fell in love with these trays. I ordered them in both the sizes they come in and I can’t wait to use them! And she’s from Walnut Creek, Bay Areaaaaa.
Splatterware Serving Bowl | We got this from our wedding registry, it’s so good.
Ribbed water pitcher (or sangria, margs, etc.) | I’ve had this for a couple of years now and it’s still in stock. Such a beaut!
Woven jute trivet | I bought this from June Home Supply last year… she’s perfect.
Roman and William Guild for little things | I am obsessed with their small bowls and ramekins. I have this one and two of these! Great for salad dressing, jams for cheese plates, nuts, or sea salt to pinch! They also have really beautiful table linens…
Year & Day ceramic dishware | We are such big fans of Year & Day, we got the ceramic dishware set in all categories in the color “moon”. They’re so beautiful…
