Quite often I get a request to put this recipe on my blog to easily reference. I made note of this incredible discovery on my 2019 Italian honeymoon! You can see my love at first sight moment here (when I boldly claimed it would be the new aperol spritz eventually, which appears might become the case soon!). I also shared this video a handful of years ago. Needless to say, no surprise here that it’s become more commonly known over here! It’s truly the most refreshing delicious sip. If I were a cocktail, I’d be hugo… x
The recipe is quite simple! I just wing it these days.
1 COCKTAIL
2 limes (loads of lime juice has become crucial)
2 parts part prosecco (also important—La Marca is fine!) to 1 part Saint Germain elderflower liquor (taste to sweetness level, I have a heavy hand)
a splash of sparkling water
garnish with mint and a slim cut lime
