The pieces that I collect and makers who I have come to love, have mostly (and fortuitously!) crossed my path purely because of my endless curiosity around vintage hunting. There is something so special about the process of it all—and once you find something in an instant it can make such an impact on your design palette, collections, and life!
A year or so ago I stumbled upon these darling antique daisy tumblers (featured on the right) and had to have them! I could not love those things more. As I always do, I found myself in a rabbit hole researching the company signed at the bottom — “Lalique France“. I uncovered so many incredible creations and became a forever fan on the spot. I also loved discovering that Slim Aarons often had Lalique glassware featured in his pool party portraits! Lalique has been an icon for a *long time.
Receiving this vase in the mail was an absolute dream, I could cry I love it so much! A beautiful luster gold hue made of crystal and embellished with one of my very favorite flowers (anemone!)… it will be something I treasure for life. They make such beautiful things, def have a peek here! xx
