Picnics and IRO Paris

Over the past year, IRO has stolen my heart with their meticulous attention to detail, romantic fabrics, feminine and unique silhouettes, and ultimate chic ease. Their pieces always surprise me– unexpected and captivating. This is my third IRO piece–they just keep getting better in my eyes. Their new spring collection is so good, you have to go check it out. I love them as much as I love picnics… which says a lot. Equally charming and romantic.

Last night, I decided to kick off the first picnic of the year. And let me tell you– it was lovely, but kind of premature. So, can we just talk about how I have been pretending it’s spring since February? The weather needs to get on my level! Thank god for some sunshine and breaks with the wind. We were able to enjoy bits of our hour spent at the park… looking the part none the less. I have hope… or I will just carry on with pushing seasons I wish for, as I do. To warmer days, hearty picnics, and summer clothes that make you feel like a queen.

So the outfit. I just got this cute white blouse (have been looking for a breezy white top for ages) from Blue & Cream. Blue & Cream is somewhat new to me–they are a shop based in the Hamptons and have such a cute selection of brands I love–like Zimmerman, Apiece Apart, RE/DONE, Solid & Striped, etc. I am always checking IRO on there as they have great styles and sales. Think I need this top and this sweater (on major sale)…
