September Mood ’18

Hello! I hope the long weekend treated you well. I am slowly easing back into west coast time and work mode after a nice little week off. I’m very excited that September is here and look forward to a slower month ahead. I have some London posts to share this week, but couldn’t forget about my monthly mood, so here we are!

Moodboards usually take me about 20 minutes or so to put together. I sift through recent bookmarked inspiration and throw the images together that speak to my mood at the moment. This one, however, took much longer! I blame jet lag, the non-stop month of August (aka lack of inspiration hunting)… and some more jet lag. But also the seasonal sartorial confusion that strikes every September. While everyone else is talking about fall, I know I can’t really join in on that conversation for a while (end of October-ish).

Slowly but surely, I will add sweaters and boots in the mix (on cooler evenings) and share some inspiration for fall style on the blog, but Indian summer is upon us in San Francisco, so a little more under the sun action is on the horizon.

As you know we just got back from London and had a full month of weekend travels. I’m so happy to not have much planned these next few weekends! Love our trips and felt so inspired by each and every one, but could use a little downtime. A few things on my list this month…

Nob Hill Spa day (birthday gift from Matt that I need to redeem)
lock down a wedding venue (for goodness sake.)
wine country trip next week
Indian summer picnic
Dave Matthews Band concert (my birthday gift to Matt)
refreshing a few things around our apartment
rug hunting for our living room
backyard bbq
Netflix and chill.

I tried to think of more, but honestly… this is all I need for September. I hope yours is a relaxing one, too!
