You know those moments when you take a step back, look at the world around you, and just feel really lucky to be alive? When everything feels so right and all of your worries vanish? Those feelings came over me yesterday at the beach. Wonderstruck and in awe of the beauty surrounding me.
I really can’t believe we are almost halfway through the year… it has just breezed on by. I have felt like my life has been a combination of trying to maintain my daily balance. With work (self-employment is an actual rollercoaster), life, self-care, side projects, and ironing out wedding logistics. This spontaneous beach visit was needed without me even knowing it.
It reminded me that I need to step away, disconnect, and marvel in the beautiful world we live in on a daily basis. Summer is the perfect time to be outdoors and reboot so that’s what I plan to do. I’m going to immerse myself into a summer state of mind right now…
One project that I am so excited about is working with NET-A-PORTER. I have been such a fan of theirs for years and years, so this is truly a dream of mine. I am so looking forward to sharing a bunch of looks throughout the next handful of months. These new pieces below are ones to note, all perfect for summer escapes. Especially the wrap skirt, which is made of a cotton/terry blend and is just so flattering. I have been looking for a wrap or something to tie around my waist for beach trips, and this thing is absolute perfection (and unique, too!). I love the tortoise detail as well… it’s a new summer staple for me, for sure. I also can’t get enough of Chloé eyewear right now. So ready to embrace summer and all that comes with it…

In case you missed it, I rounded up some of the best MDW sales I found around the web on my sale shop… so many good ones! A few things I saw that I feel like can’t be missed–– Simon Miller bags are on sale around the web (obsessed with the black with tortoise handles). Into all things by Nicholas lately (everyone needs this swimsuit). I’m eyeing a few things from Mara Hoffman for my honeymoon. So many beautiful dresses on sale by Self Portrait… great options for wedding guest (putting a post together on this topic soon btw!). Lastly, I am just so in love with those silver Stuart Weitzman heels I got for my wedding weekend… I want one more pair in nude so may get these!
