Injecting a whole bunch of charm is the goal for spring. I always come around to color more so than ever this time of year, but lately, I have been { extra } with the color, pattern, and details. I am just loving seeing all these fun new arrivals! As a quick closet update, I’m feeling good about the basics (shared a post about tees and denim jackets here, my weekly uniform), my spring shop has a bevy full of cool new pieces, and I am ready to start adding some warm weather trend items to my closet.
A couple of things I’ve been hunting down over the past week or so… { 1 } round sunglasses. I had the smaller Rayban pair but didn’t pull those off too well. I think I’m just so used to my big Célines. I ordered a larger pair that I think will suit my face shape a bit better which should be arriving this week. I’ll update you soon on that! They are from a brand I discovered while in Paris a couple of years back! { 2 } colorful, breezy blouses. I don’t have a ton of tops in my closet right now that I love, so I’ve been saving a bunch to mull over.
I don’t know what’s come over me, but I’ve been really drawn to pink lately! New hue to be hung up around here, but I couldn’t resist ordering this & Other Stories top. The silhouette, pleats, and subtle ruffles are picture perfect for a sunny spring day. I plan to counter the super feminine style with pieces that make it feel a little more androgynous. Thinking either a faded black wash cropped jean and sleek sandal, or even tucked into distressed denim once my legs can bare it.
