I refreshed this post from a couple of years back and made note of some of my trusty, tried and true go-to’s…
I love having a few quality brands and pieces that serve my style and fit preferences perfectly, and act as the building blocks to my everyday wardrobe.
Tee’s
For tees, my most worn are definitely this tee by The Great (I go with size 1). They are such a good boyfriend fit and are seriously such good quality. I wash all the time and they wear in beautifully. I also always buy this Rag & Bone tee—and highly recommend them as well (I got for size large as I like it to be a little more boyfriend-y).
Ribbed Pieces
As I recently shared, Myles Price has become a favorite. These tanks and dresses are perfection for the warmer months ahead. A handful more from around the web… (I go with size 1). I also really love my Toteme basics… I have this tank in a few colors. Lastly, I just ordered these tanks because, hello cuteness!
Elevated easy throw on tops
I also love to collect a few nice, simple tops to have to rotate with high waist skirts, jeans, shorts. I love Vince’s stretch knit tops these last couple of years, this new style is so adorable, I think I need to add both the white and black to my closet… so versatile and lovely!
Jeans
I am still preaching good things about Agolde Toni Jeans (I miss you Toni!!!). I am on a jean hiatus until postpartum/they can fit me again, but still will be a favorite that I look forward to wearing! They have a brand new color that I have thought about getting to saving for the fall. For the Toni, I take my true size. I personally like the height of the Toni’s (mid rise, which hits right below bellybutton) but if you like slightly higher, their Nico jeans are the exact fit just a higher cut.
Still a big fan of Velvet styles/fit, too, and am always keeps an eye on their site. I bought this style in a couple of colors last year and adore them. This style is new and look really cute, too! I take my true size for Velvet denim as well!
Denim Jackets
For denim jackets… I have so many haha—they are a serious essential in my closet. I love love love denim jackets so much. My favorites include Agolde Charli, Goldsign (I have a few colors!), and classic Levis.
Linen Staples
I have had these Faithfull linen pants for a few years now and they have become seasonal favorites. You do need to wear undergarment that aligns with your skin tone. Not crazy see-thru but being linen, you just have to work with them a bit. They have been sold out forever so I was very excited to see them pop up again so I could share with you as I am asked every time I wear! They also came out with black! I did have to have mine altered, but other than that note, they are true to size.
More spring style stories to come! Not gonna lie, I have been living in lounge this fall/winter… but I am always the most excited about this season shift and the easy breezy styles that come with it… so here’s to wearing real clothes this spring and summer.
