Originally Tahoe was on the docket, but since we will be up there next month twice, sandwiching a weekend trip to Seattle, we decided to stick around the city instead. I have a going away dinner for a girlfriend on Friday night, a lovely day trip up to wine country, and a BBQ on Monday! As long as I can dress in something other than winter layers this weekend… I will be as happy as clam!
While I have been glued to my desk this week and collecting inspiration for summer style content, I noticed I’ve been gravitating towards a few of the same things again and again. Summer-y things on my radar
I have been saving so many classic-with-a-twist white summer tops. These are everywhere right now and the absolute perfect staple to reinvent all season long. I just bought this ruffly one and love it. I’m really into this one, too! // Like clockwork, my eyes are looking at everything linen. Jumpsuits, tops, pants. Kind of a no-brainer fabric when summer hits, so many good options to choose from. // When it comes to swimwear, one-pieces have totally won me over. I love teaming them with great denim shorts and not having to think about another layer on top when lakeside in Tahoe, or beach trips down the road. Plus, they are super flattering and the styles out there floating around the web are endlessly chic. Onia is a new favorite brand I’ve discovered and I just ordered one from Matteau as well. I found a ton of gems in this stash as well.
