The countdown to Tahoe is on. Early afternoon sun on my skin, coconut SPF scenting the scene, magazines to consume, and a visit (or two) to the tiki stand for a piña… the picture of perfection in my mind. It’s kind of magical how instantly upon arrival, the fresh air up there and pristine lake views evoke your most care-free self. I’m very much looking forward to that feeling and all the BBQ’s and the tan about to ensue. Summer is such a good-for-the-soul season, isn’t it?
Whenever we head up to Incline Village, I pack a whole bunch of basics to mix and match and a handful of fun staples and accessories that make an outfit feel more special. A wrap skirt and/or an easy dress or jumpsuit, too for dinner or happy hour. A new sweet swimsuit, fun jewelry to elevate simplicity, and a favorite woven bag (Cuyana, you’ve outdone yourself with this one). Here’s a bunch of stuff below I think would be perfect for a weekend on the water.
